Network Support Engineer –
Security Services

Responsibilities:

The candidate will work on projects relating to network security, wired and wireless networking and systems.

He will handle configuration, installation of devices, e.g. routers, access points, firewall/VPN appliances, and multi-homing devices. There will be elements of project management. He must be able to troubleshoot network issues on site or remotely.

This position also requires the individual to interact with the company's external clients and vendors.

The individual must be able to handle customer-services-related activities such as product enquiries and proof-of–concept exercises.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma or certification in CCNA/CCNP/ MS MCP, MCSE or other related network security certifications.
2. At least 2 years related working experience in hands-on network topology design and implementation;
3. Strong fundamental knowledge in TCP/IP networking and wireless networking. Working knowledge of Linux is an added advantage.
4. Experience with implementing and installing network security products such as Cisco PIX, SonicWALL UTM & other load balancing appliances, VPN configurations, and enterprise wireless solutions will be an added advantage.
5. The candidate must be able to start work immediately or within short notice.
6. Must be able to work under little supervision and under extremely stressful environments. Multi-tasking and long hours are required.
7. Must have good basic communications skills to interact with external customers.
8. Positive working attitude is MANDATORY.
9. Must be available on standby 24/7, especially after office hours.
